How to choose a lead-acid battery charger？
Since the birth of lead-acid batteries, engineers have been exploring fast and reasonable charging methods.
1. Constant current charging: charging is fast, but it is easy to cause overcharge
2. Constant voltage charging: simple charging, large charging current at the beginning of the mode, which seriously affects the lifespan
3. Multi-stage charging: It combines the advantages of constant current and constant voltage charging, and can be charged in a faster way
Charging current selection: If the charging current is too large, it will cause damage to the battery. If it is too small, the charging will be slow and the charging efficiency will be low! The general charging current is 0.1-0.2C of the rated capacity (C is the abbreviation of the capacity in the battery.) For example, a 12V 60Ah battery, the charging current within 6-12A is suitable.
